MEET OUR PASTOR
PASTOR KEVIN D. PROFIT
Pastor Kevin Devon Profit entered into this world March 2, 1979 to Mr. Henry & Mrs. Hattie Profit. The youngest of 6 children, Pastor Profit grew up as part of a very devout family, who worshipped by way of the apostolic faith. He joined his father and siblings, at a young age, as the drummer of the family’s church. By the age of 12, he realized his true musical love for the organ, and became their organist. Maintaining his Christian upbringing, Pastor Profit kept his ears and sights on God and was able to hear his call to ministry at age 17.
Upon leaving his home in Timmonsville, SC, Kevin joined the Air Force where he served for 2 years. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA, by way of South Carolina, where he shared his ministry of music as the musical director for singer Bruce Parham and organist/keyboardist with the Temple University Gospel Choir. It was this avenue, by which he met his wife, Nakayra.
From Philly, Pastor Profit relocated to New Jersey to continue his musical ministry. He then moved to Connecticut where he was licensed to the ministry in 2003. He continues to preach the uncompromised Word of God with the liberty and anointing God has blessed him with. He also continues to share his musical gift at various ministries near and far. He is the former founder and director of Fairfield County’s Unlimited Sounds of Worship Community Choir.
Pastor Profit has a passion for winning souls, for the youth, and for bringing families and communities together. In September 2013, he was sworn in as police chaplain for Norwalk, CT. He has also taken on many other opportunities to mentor and encourage youth in the community.
Pastor Profit is pastor/founder of Kingdom Restoration Ministries(est. 2011), located in the wonderful city of Norwalk, Ct. The ministry was birthed out of the need to repair the breach in the Body of Christ (Restoring the Kingdom ONE Soul at a Time.) Pastor Profit remains committed to moving by the direction of The Holy Spirit and preaching what ‘thus saith The Lord’.
Kevin currently resides in Bridgeport, CT. He is the husband of one wife, Nakayra Janelle Profit, and the father of 4 children, Jalen, Zaire, Zion, and Nailah.
